Markus and Michael Wagner’s lifelong passion for parrots has led to the creation of an online shop called “Papageien Paradies” or “Parrot Paradise”. From importing pet accessories from the USA for their parrots, the brothers’ business grew to include friends who wanted their high-quality products. In 1996, they launched Wagner’s “Parrot Paradise” and an online shop, and by 1997, they began producing their own line of bird toys under the HappyBird® brand.
Their success continued, and in 1998, they started manufacturing aviaries and bird homes under the MONTANA® brand. Soon, the Wallace and Jones® brand was born in 2006, producing fashionable dog mats and beds when Markus and Michael’s search for a suitable dog bed for their furry friends, Kimba & Duffy, came up short. They also added the Larsson-Farm® brand in 2012, offering antler chews and innovative natural chews.
Under the Canadian Cat Company® brand, the brothers manufacture high-quality cat products such as designer scratching boards, scratching posts, running wheels, and cuddly cushions. In 2021, they were awarded the prestigious “GERMAN INNOVATION AWARD 2021 SPECIAL” for a cat scratcher they manufactured on their own CNC system “Made in Germany”.
Their products are available in many pet supply stores such as Fressnapf, Megazoo, Zoo & Co, and Futterhaus branches. Some products are also sold at Globus, Hagebau, Dehner Gartencenter & Hellweg, and their MONTANA® cages are available online at Zooplus.de. Their range is also available on Amazon.de, Otto.de, Ebay.de, and Kaufland.de.
